Gravel Fondo Cymru is a spectacular gravel event set in the heart of Wales.
Returning on 20 June 2026, the event moves to a brand-new venue and will host the official Beicio Cymru (Welsh Cycling) Gravel Championships. Riders can expect a stunning, varied course with both competitive and non-competitive categories available. Open to all abilities, for riders aged 16+
Riders can choose between competitive and non-competitive options, with distances, with a lap format to suit all ages and ability. The event has a long lap, with a maximum distance of 75km.
Categories available: Junior, Senior, Veteran 40, Veteran 50, Veteran 60+.
From the A483:
Travelling southbound
At Llanwrtyd Wells, turn right signposted Cefn Gorwedd (2 miles). Continue for 2 miles, then at the T-junction turn right. Continue for a further 2 miles and turn right again. Follow the event parking signs.
Travelling northbound
Continue past Llandovery on the A483 for approximately 5 miles, then turn right signposted Tirabad. Continue for 6 miles, passing through Tirabad. Around 1 mile after Tirabad, turn left into the forest and follow the event parking signs.
